How well do you know DNA? Why does it play such a key role in the development of biotechnology? You’ll discover it with us in the lab through fun and colorful experiments, themed interactive games, colored gels, and DNA ORIGAMI (models of DNA molecules). It’s a short but intense lab experience where all participants, including students and their teachers, will be guided through a hands-on learning path to extract DNA from samples of fruit, vegetables, and flowers. There will also be plenty of ideas for educational activities to deepen scientific understanding in biotechnology, all aimed at improving quality of life with a One Health approach.
