- The first part of the lesson (about 30 minutes) will be dedicated to the function of microRNAs and their potential use in the clinic.
- In the second part (about 30 minutes) we will deal with how some biological processes can be used to visualize the presence of pathological alterations in vivo, with particular reference to imaging techniques such as bioluminescent imaging, positron emission tomography (PET) and diffusion magnetic resonance imaging.
- Finally, the experience proposed includes the involvement of children in the laboratory to discover which technologies allow us to study microRNAs in vitro and in vivo.
